Health-data privacy & handling
This page describes exactly how health-related data submitted to Biomelogic — through AI tools, intake forms, or paid consultations — is transmitted, processed, retained, and deleted.

What you may submit
Uploaded lab reports (PDF / image), free-text descriptions of symptoms or history, and prior clinician notes you choose to share. Do not submit information about third parties.
How data is transmitted
All submissions are transmitted over HTTPS. Files routed to AI processors are sent over encrypted connections to the processor's API.
Whether files are stored
Files uploaded to AI tools (e.g. the Lab Result Interpreter) are not retained after the request returns. Files submitted as part of a paid consultation are stored only for the duration of the engagement and then deleted on request.
AI processors used
Mechanistic readings rely on third-party large-language-model providers (Lovable AI Gateway, OpenAI / Google providers). These processors operate under their own data policies and may temporarily process content to return a response. They are not used to train models on your data under our configuration.
Who can access submissions
Only the practitioner reviewing your case (Mohammed) and the technical infrastructure required to deliver the response. No marketing, advertising, or third-party access.
Retention period
AI tool inputs: not retained beyond the request. Consultation materials: retained for the active engagement, then deleted within 30 days of close, or sooner on request.
Deletion request process
Email research@biomelogic.net with the subject line 'Delete my data'. Deletion is processed within 14 business days and confirmed in writing.
Limitations of confidentiality
Biomelogic is an educational service, not a covered healthcare entity. Standard professional discretion applies, but legal disclosure may be required under court order or applicable law.
Non-HIPAA status
Biomelogic is not a HIPAA-covered entity and does not provide HIPAA-regulated services. Do not assume HIPAA-equivalent protections apply.
Consent language
By submitting health data through any Biomelogic tool or intake, you acknowledge the educational scope of this service, the use of third-party AI processors, and the absence of HIPAA coverage.
